MEN, DON'T SMOKE
With all the data, scientific data regarding the dangers of smoking, many men feel like they're immune to the hazards and that could be the furthest thing from the truth.
Tobacco in large amounts is detrimental and deadly. Processed tobacco even worse. Tobacco in its natural form when smoked is bad enough for you but what the companies put into the commercial tobacco should be banned all over the Earth. There are thousands of chemical compounds and ingredients in commercial processed tobacco and that means when you smoke it you're introducing these chemicals and compounds into your system and that ain't good.
Natural tobacco is less dangerous but dangerous none the less. Today we ingest so much tobacco that the revenue fuels our governments. That kind of money means that companies producing the products don't care about your health, only about your money. It's taken decades for the government and the public to realize how dangerous smoking is but because the tobacco companies are so strong they can lobby lawmakers and heads of state thus controlling them from coming down heavy on the tobacco companies. Millions have died because of this but the tide is turning as the public themselves are now realizing that their relatives who could have lived didn't because the hadn't been warned in time to stop smoking.
For men, this means discipline. For everyone else it does too. A man has to realize that pleasure is one thing but shortening and compromising his life not an optimum solution. He's got to take command of his destiny and that destiny means good health and a longer life. To engage in any activity that can kill you or make you disabled is not a good idea. Think of the loss and expense your loved ones will go through when the detrimental affects of smoking catch up to you. You may end up in long term care spending thousands per month eating away at your family's budget and becoming dependent on them thus disrupting the quality of their lives.
Justifying smoking when you know full well it's expensive and deadly is nothing more than suicide or insanity. The science is in, smoking is deadly, that's all you need to know.
How do you stop smoking? It can be easy or it can be difficult depending on you and the availability of successful treatments. Some people wean off slowly by using nicotine gum, e-cigarettes, patches and the like. Mind you nicotine isn't the killer in tobacco. It's the smoke and ingredients, the tar, and like.
